We are an all breed, canine rescue organization. We are a 501(C)(3), non-profit canine rescue group.

As we have no shelter of our own, we rely on fosters to house the animals until they can be adopted. The fosters give the animals a loving, home environment to prepare them for adoption. If you would like to foster for us, please complete the Foster Application.

Mission Statement
Rainbow Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization, established to rescue and place unwanted animals in qualified, loving homes. Through education, we seek to create an animal-friendly community in the Tidewater area.

The Petfinder Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 public charity, helps homeless pets by saving lives through adoptions, helping shelters prepare for and recover from disaster and working to make sure animal welfare organizations across the country are more sustainable. Its mission is to ensure no adoptable pet is euthanized for lack of a home.
